Agile Practical
An interactive 1-day training session that provides participants with a solid introduction or refresh on agile, and how it is used in practice.
Course Description
The trainer will be a highly experienced agile coach who will guide participants through several hands-on exercises, mixed with explanations of core agile techniques, and how they are used in practice.
Some of the techniques practiced are self-organising teams, continuous improvement, early feedback, definition of ready, definition of done, flow, limiting WIP, 3 Cs, planning poker and fast backlog estimation.
Topics include:
- What is agile?
- Values and principles
- Agile frameworks – Scrum & Kanban
- Agile planning and estimation
- User stories
Who Should Attend?
This course is for any level. It benefits those entirely new to agile and those with experience. There are no pre-requisites.
Certification
All participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, there is no exam.
Following the training, many participants have taken further Scrum Master or Product Owner training with Calba leading to professional qualification.
